This winter’s best art event! 20 top artists are opening up their studios this Saturday afternoon. Come and see what happens here in historic Swan Street Studios and maybe find a painting, glass art, sculpture or print to treasure forever!
One of Melbourne’s longest-established and best-known artists colonies is opening its doors to the public for three exciting hours on Saturday 9th August between one and four pm.
The famous warren of more than 30 studio spaces that thread their way through the first floor of the historic industrial building on Swan Street is holding a once-off Open Day with literally hundreds of original artworks for sale directly from the creators: a unique opportunity to acquire great art at prices which will delight smart collectors, with no middlemen or galleries involved.
Works range across a huge variety of art styles, including all kinds of paintings, sculptures and glassworks. As you browse the works you are welcome to chat to the artists and even watch them work.
